Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to Get Swablu Fluff
Swablu sits among the loads of other Pokémon reappearing from previous games in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Swablu is a small bird-like Pokémon that looks like it has cotton or clouds for wings. Swablu often likes to live in the mountains. Though there are loads of mountains in the Paldea Region, Swablu is fairly picky about which mountains it decides to reside in.
If you check out Swablu and its evolution, Altaria’s habitat information, you’ll see that there are quite a few places throughout the region where you could potentially find them. This also includes the mountains you’ll see at the very beginning of the game. Remember, when you begin your search for Swablu, that they like to spawn in higher altitude areas. Watch for them on cliffs and higher up on mountains, but try to avoid fields and plains, as the likelihood of them spawning there is very small. When you’re ready to either fight or catch a Swablu, make sure you bring an Electric Type Pokémon with you since Swablu is a Flying Type Pokémon.
In order to collect Swablu Fluff in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll have to either catch or defeat Swablu or Altaria. Each one that you complete this action with will award you anywhere from 1 to 3 Swablu Fluff that will be deposited directly into your materials pouch. Swablu Fluff can be used to make TM 079 Dazzling Gleam, TM 115 Dragon Pulse, and TM 160 Hurricane.
