While Find the Markers may seem like just another scavenger-hunt-style experience, it actually offers quite an intricate map with more than a handful of challenging secrets to find. With its Secret of the Foliage update, Find the Markers has added nine more markers for players to discover, including the one we’ll cover in this brief guide, Ecosystem Marker.

Finding the Ecosystem Marker in Find the Markers

Once you’ve spawned into Find the Markers, locate and walk toward the Olde Shop building.

Hop into the body of water surrounding the Olde Shop and look for the marker pictured below—this is the Ecosystem Marker.

Before collecting the Ecosystem Marker, you’ll need to do it a quick favor. Upon speaking to this marker, you’ll be asked to find and collect all seven of its missing fish. Once you agree to help Ecosystem Marker, its fish will swim away from you and hide somewhere in the water.

It shouldn’t take you longer than a minute or two to collect all seven of these fish—surprisingly, the hardest part of the whole task is actually clicking on the fish themselves, not finding them. Swimming up to a fish and trying to angle yourself so that you can move your cursor to click on it can be frustrating, so we’d recommend just spam-clicking as much as possible!

Once you’ve collected all seven fish, return to the Ecosystem Marker and interact with it. Upon doing so, you will be thanked for your service and allowed to collect it. To do this, simply swim toward it and touch it. That’s all there is to it!
