Fortnite and Marvel are gearing up for another crossover event, this time involving the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game, and can help you nab the new Hulk Smashers pickaxe. All you will have to do is participate in the closed and open betas for Marvel’s Avengers to unlock the new item for free.
It also comes with a Hulkbuster variant of the hands. You won’t have to pay for the game in order to get the Hulk Smasher though, since the open beta will be available to everyone. The closed beta requires a pre-order, so if you want an extended amount of time in the beta, you can always pre-order and then cancel it after you’re done.
This promotion is only available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, so PC players are, unfortunately, out of luck with getting it for free.

In the beta, you will need to complete three HARM challenges on either platform in order to get the new harvesting tool. You’ll also need to link your PSN or Xbox Live accounts to your Epic Games and Square Enix accounts.

If you happen to miss out on the beta, you will still be able to purchase the harvesting tool in the Item Shop at a later date.
This is another crossover between Fortnite and Marvel, with the two having collaborated a few times in the past. Recently, Deadpool was part of the second season for Fortnite: Chapter 2. Marvel also was one of the first collaborators with Fortnite when a limited-time Thanos mode was added to the game to celebrate the release of Infinity War.
