The Paracesis is the signature weapon of Ballas, the Orokin Executor. It is a unique weapon in Warframe as it can continue to rank up past rank 30, going all the way to 40 when polarization will cap out, and gaining increased damage to Sentients after that. 

The Paracesis does high Slash damage and has a great critical chance for a Heavy Blade. Both Cleaving Whirlwind and Tempo Royale stances can be used with the weapon, making it very good at room clearing.

The Paracesis is obtained by completing the Chimera Prologue, a short quest that does not show up in the Codex. Players must have completed The Sacrifice quest to access the Chimera Prologue quest. It can be found in the Codex. When The Sacrifice is complete, you can visit your room in the Orbiter and you will discover The Man in the Wall sitting on the Lotus’ headgear. If you interact with the headgear, the quest will begin. The short quest will play out after that and is more of an info dump than anything else. It is fun, however, especially for fans of the lore. Finish the quest will get you the Paracesis blueprint, and you can then build it in the Foundry with the following resources:

It will take 12 hours to build, and this can be skipped for 30 Platinum.
