As one of his signature movement abilities and a key feature of his games since the days of the Dreamcast, Sonic is known for his ability to grind on rails. In Sonic Adventure 2, however, that gameplay element invited a brand deal with Soap Shoes, a real shoe company that included a steel plate, so users could grind without a skateboard. Fans can now relive those radical days by donning Sonic’s Soaps in Sonic Frontiers.
How to get the Soap Shoes DLC in Sonic Frontiers
Sonic fans can earn this cosmetic DLC for free, all they have to do is sign up for the Sonic Frontiers official newsletter.
On the official Sonic Frontiers website, you will notice an option marked Newsletter on the top-right heading. Click the word Newsletter, then enter your email, date of birth, country, and the platform for your Sonic Frontiers. Click the two check boxes, then click Subscribe to the Newsletter.
Those who sign up for the Sonic Newsletter should receive their download code by email between 24 and 48 hours. The code will outfit Sonic with his stylish old shoes. This offer is available until January 31st, 2023.
