Control in Apex Legends is all about controlling the field and getting back in action fast when you die. That said, you can’t spawn if you don’t have access to the map. Sometimes, instead of showing the spawn map, it will just show a static shot of the ground. This can be frustrating, especially if time is of the essence. That said, there is a very easy way to fix it.
You need to get the map back to make the page refresh. This means if you go into either the Change Legend menu or the Change Loadout menu, even if you don’t change anything when you exit back out, the map should be back. That is all there is to it.
There is currently no way to prevent the map from disappearing, but this fix will work every time you have the issue. If you have any trouble with getting the refresh to register, try actually changing your Legend, and that should force an even stronger refresh.
