The Stone Mask is a Passive Item in Vampire Survivors capable of increasing Greed by 10% per level. Greed is the stat that determines the amount of Gold Coins gained from pickups and Treasure Chests. The Stone Mask’s buff caps at +50% Greed, meaning that players will have 150% Greed when the Passive Item reaches its max capacity. As the main currency for purchasing playable characters and PowerUps, Gold Coins are an essential element of Vampire Survivors, and being able to collect more during a run can aid players in their progression against the nightly onslaught of vicious monsters and bosses.

Getting the Stone Mask in Vampire Survivors

To get the Stone Mask in Vampire Survivors, players must enter the Inlaid Library and search the Stage for the Passive Item. Typically, the mask will appear in the eastern portion of the zone. After traveling to the left for around a minute, players should encounter the Stone Mask in an alcove between bookshelves.

When getting the Stone Mask for the first time in the Inlaid Library Stage of Vampire Survivors, they will receive the Steam Achievement “Stone Mask.” Additionally, the Stone Mask can be found as a Stage Item in both the Inlaid Library and Moongolow. It should be noted that the mask does not increase Greed based on the player’s level but on the level of the Passive Item itself. Accordingly, here is a quick and straightforward view of the Stone Mask’s five levels:

  • Level 1: “Character earns 10% more coins.”
  • Level 2: Coins value increases by 10% (total 20%)
  • Level 3: Coins value increases by 10% (total 30%)
  • Level 4: Coins value increases by 10% (total 40%)
  • Level 5: Coins value increases by 10% (total 50%)

Naturally, the Stone Mask in Vampire Survivors is not critical for winning a run but serves as means for gaining the most money out of the Stage. Therefore, if the player believes they cannot or decides not to finish a run, it is recommended to avoid getting the Stone Mask since it becomes much more effective during the late game. 

One additional way to increase the utility of the Stone Mask is by using the Disco of Gold (XV), an Arcana unlocked by reaching the 31-minute mark in the Inlaid Library. This Arcana will heal the player for the same amount of Gold Coins gained. Hence, the increased Greed from the mask will result in more substantial healing from the Disco of Gold (XV).
