If you’ve seen all of the hype around the new virtual Pro Gamer Backpack item available in Roblox, we have some good news and bad news for you. The good news—this item is technically free! The bad news—you, or a family member, will need to be an active customer of the phone carrier company Verizon in order to redeem it.

This item is similar to the Pro Gamer Helmet both in terms of its aesthetic, and the fact that the helmet was also a Verizon exclusive. If you’re one of the lucky few who have a Verizon account, or you know someone who does, continue reading below and we’ll walk you through the steps on how to claim your own Pro Gamer Backpack.

Getting started

  • Access the Verizon Rewards site at https://www.verizon.com/rewards/verizon-up/Sign in to your account (or whoever’s account that you’re using)Scroll down until you see the More Roblox Exclusives text and Pro Gamer Backpack imageClick on the link the download the MyVerizon app if you don’t have it alreadyIf you have the app already, you can skip steps one through fourOpen the MyVerizon app and sign in if necessaryClick on the Verizon Up option from the bottom menuLocate and click the Rewards Center option at the top of the screenScroll down to the Bonus Rewards sectionLocate the image of the Pro Gamer Backpack from the side scrolling menu and click on the view details button underneath itPress ClaimVerizon will generate a unique numerical code for you that can be used to redeem the backpackKeep in mind that the backpack must be claimed by Oct. 31, 2021 and, once claimed, must be used by Nov. 30, 2021 or else it will expire!Copy the code from the MyVerizon app and head to the Roblox website or Roblox app and find the Code Redemption page.Enter your code in the code barPress RedeemIf done correctly, a pop-up should appear that says Code Successfully Redeemed with an image of the Pro Gamer BackpackOnce this pop-up appears the item will be added to your inventory and you’re good to go!
