Get Yungoos Fur for TMs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
For those of you new to Pokémon video games, TMs are Technical Machines. These are given to Pokémon to help them learn new moves. They’re especially useful as they give you more versatility in leveling up and training your favorite battle companions.
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Yungoos Fur is one of the TM resources. If you want to find it, you must first find Yungoos, the Normal-type Pokémon. You’re in luck, though, as they are plentiful in the game.
Yungoos hang out around caves and rocky biomes. Here’s a complete list of where to look:
- Asado Desert
- Casseroya Lake
- Glaseado Mountain
- The Great Crater of Paldea
- The Pokémon League
- East Province (One, Two, Three)
- North Province (One, Two, Three)
- South Province (Areas One, Two, Three, Four, Six)
- West Province (Areas One, Two, Three)
In any of these areas, you have a strong chance to find Yungoos for Yungoos Fur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
To get the Yungoos to drop Yungoos Fur, you must engage in battle with them. You can simply defeat them to get Yungoos Fur. However, catching them nets you more of this resource.
Yungoos tend to attack first, so it isn’t difficult to engage them. Their defense isn’t high, so defeating them is not challenging.
Where to Find Sunkern in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
You’ll want to battle numerous Yungoos to get enough Yungoos Fur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This is because Yungoos Fur is a part of two different TM recipes:
- TM001 – Take Down: 3 Yungoos Fur, 3 Lechonk Hair, 400 LP
- TM108 – Crunch: 3 Yungoos Fur, 3 Bruxish Tooth, 5 Maschiff Fang, 8,000 LP
These are reliable moves to teach Pokémon that otherwise are unable to learn them. So, track down those Yungoos so you can get all the Yungoos Fur you need in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
