Bethesda Softworks recently hosted a pre-launch gameplay stream for Ghostwire: Tokyo and fans got a glimpse of the vast world of the game. During the stream, fans not only got to see the streets of Tokyo but also its rooftops. One of the gameplay mechanics allows the protagonist to grapple up to rooftops, and the developers showed exactly how to do it.

As shown by the developers, players will have to locate various Tengu Yokai sitting on top of a building to grapple up to a rooftop. If you cannot locate one, use your Spectral Vision to find them. Once you locate a Tengu, press L2 + X on PlayStation controllers to grapple up to the rooftop. This mechanic will allow players to explore the city in various ways.

Tokyo is a city full of skyscrapers, and players can experience the world of Ghostwire: Tokyo from above by grappling up to various rooftops. The developers described that the environment on rooftops is completely different, and players will discover several new things while searching across each skyscraper. You will also come across various Spirits and other Yokai on rooftops.

Players will also have a Glide ability to move from one rooftop to another or land safely on the streets. While fans saw several new mechanics in the pre-launch gameplay stream, we will have to wait until it releases to discover more.
