One of the new features added to Valheim was several variations of a new building type called darkwood. Darkwood buildings are a new type of buildings that the player can use alongside shingle roofs.
All darkwood buildings also use a new resource type that only can be found in the Plains biome via tar pits. That said, here’s the complete list of Darkwood Buildings that were just added in Valheim.

All new darkwood buildings in Valheim require a new resource called tar. Players can get tars from either growth enemies or tar nodes at tar pits. darkwood buildings will also require wood, but you will need fine wood to make the Darkwood divider. If you want to make any darkwood building, simply grab a hammer and a good amount of both wood and tar.

Right-click the hammer to open the build menu and locate one of the darkwood building parts in the building items section of the hammer build menu. When you find the item you want, left click to place it on the ground.
